About the federation
The Grenada Chess Federation is the governing body for chess in Grenada. We run the national championships, keep the ratings, train arbiters and select the teams that represent Grenada abroad.
Our mission
To develop chess in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, with a focus on juniors and schools.
The federation sanctions tournaments, publishes the rating list and selects national teams for the Chess Olympiad and youth events.
It is run by an elected council of volunteers. Clubs and schools affiliate to the federation, and players join as members.
